About Us

What is Oneg Fine Art?
Oneg Fine Art is a curated gallery of Jewish cultural and fine art, founded to celebrate and sustain the beauty of Jewish tradition. We are a community-driven initiative: all proceeds go directly to supporting the Minián Hebraica, an independent prayer community that gathers weekly at the Sociedad Hebraica Argentina’s Pilar grounds for Tefilá and Jewish cultural activities. When you purchase art from us, you're not just acquiring a beautiful piece - you're helping to keep a living community alive, as 50% of the profits will go towards the Minián Hebraica Autogestionado.

What kind of art do you sell?

We create our own museum quality fine art of the great rebbes, from the Ba’al Shem Tov to Rabbi Akiva to the Lubavitcher Rebbe to the Rambam and many more. We create portraits of the Gedolim and Tzaddikim in many different styles.

What is the revenue used for?

50% of our revenue is to cover our costs, such as printing and shipping, and the other 50% goes directly to pay for the salary of our wonderful Chabad rabbi. You can read all about the Minián here.

How many people are in the Minián?

Hebraica is a community of about 5,000 Jews. Of these, about 150 are directly active in the Minián and about 500 are somewhat active to different levels. We have weekly activities such as “Torá Girls” and many shiurim. Hebraica has a seat in Buenos Aires, but we spend our weekends in Hebraica’s private town for members outside of the city of Buenos Aires, in the small town of Pilar.

Since you’re based in Argentina, why is your site in English?

Great question! For a few reasons: one is that the President of the Minián Hebraica Autogestionado is American! A second reason is, while our Minián is based in Argentina, we are quite international, with a few Americans, Brazilians, Israelis, and others. Our beloved rabbis is from São Paulo, Brazil, actually. And a third reason is, we’re experimenting with a new e-commerce platform, and we haven’t yet figured out how to make it multilingual. And a fourth reason is, since there are many more Jews in the USA than Argentina, we wanted to see if American Jews might be interested in this.

Creation, Production & Paper

What sort paper do you use for your art?

Our art is printed on museum quality Archival Matte Hahnemühle paper and the giclée printing process. It’s the same paper that museums around the world use for their work. We hope to soon introduced canvas prints, as well.

Is AI / Artificial Intelligence / LLMs used in the design or creation of your art?

No, not whatsoever. Our work is 100% done by humans, either by hand (then scanned digitally) or manually drawn on an iPad.

What sizes do you print in?

Usually, three sizes: A4 (8.27″ x 11.69″ inches = 21.0 x 29.7 cm), A3 (11.69″ x 16.54″ inches = 29.7 x 42.0 cm), and A2 (16.54″ x 24.39″ inches = 42.0 x 59.4 cm). And you can see our size guide to see what those sizes look like in real life. However, if you really want one of our pieces in a different size—just ask. We’re here to help and give you the perfect art of your favorite rabbi! By the way, in case you’re wondering why we base our sizes on the metric A2/A3/A4 system and not on the normal “inches”—oh, remember, Argentina, like most of the world outside of the USA, uses the metric system! ❤️ Also, if you would like your piece in a different size, then just drop us a note and let us know what size you want.

Can you create your art in custom sizes?

Absolutely. Just say hi and ask and we can create it in any size you are dreaming of!

How long does it take to be delivered?

Upon the order being placed, we need about 3-5 business days to process it on our part, then the printer usually takes about 2 business days, and then shipping takes up to 3-8 more business days. So on average, between 8 to 15 business days. We know in the world of Amazon Prime and super-speed, that is a bit slow, but this is what happens when you have an artisanal product like ours. Those numbers are assuming you’re in the USA. It is about slightly faster (about 5 business days) if you’re in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For the rest of the world, add about 10 business days for international shipping as well. Finally, if you have a rush, then let us know and we can prioritize it to make it happen faster, just drop us a note and let us know you have a rush situation.

Orders & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal and wire transfers. If you prefer to arrange a payment in another way, please contact us directly - we’re happy to accommodate. If you’re in Argentina, we can also accept an “Alias” transfer or cash.

Will I receive confirmation after placing an order?

Yes. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is placed, followed by a shipping notification once your artwork is on its way. We'll be in touch at every step.

Can I commission a custom piece?

Absolutely! We love bringing custom visions to life. Custom commissions are non-refundable, and we'll work closely with you throughout the creative process to ensure your complete satisfaction. Just drop us a line! Also, if you have an idea for a rabbi that you’d like a portrait of, you can also recommend it and (at not charge), we’ll eventually get around to painting him.

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Yes - we ship worldwide. Each piece is packaged with care to ensure it arrives safely, whether across town or across the ocean. Shipping times and costs will vary by destination and will be calculated at checkout. Within Argentina, your art can be delivered or picked up in person.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Yes we addressed this above but we love repetition for clarity in these parts. Processing typically takes 3–5 business days. Shipping time depends on your location - domestic orders generally arrive within 5–10 business days, while international shipments may take 1–3 weeks. You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships. Just drop us a note if you need it faster.

Are there customs duties or import fees?

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees depending on your country's regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking with your local customs authority if you're unsure of the applicable fees.

Refunds, Returns & Care

What is your return policy?

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you're not happy with your purchase, you may return it within 60 days of receipt, provided the item is in its original, unused condition and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the piece arrived damaged or was sent in error - in which case, we cover it completely. Custom and personalized orders are final sale. Please contact us to initiate a return. You can read our awesome money-back guarantee here.

What if my order arrives damaged?

We package every piece with great care, but if something arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will make it right - either with a replacement or a full refund, at your preference.

How should I care for my artwork?

To keep your piece looking its best: avoid direct sunlight, which can fade colors over time. Dust gently with a dry, soft cloth or feather duster. Never use water or spray cleaners on the surface. For framed works, hang securely on a stable wall and away from sources of heat or humidity.

Still have a question?

We’d love to hear from you. We are a community team project, and we love feedback and one of us will respond to you. Our contact information is here. We have a friendly attitude and love talking to anyone with an interest in our art, our Minián, Torah, or just wanting to learn about Jewish life in Argentina. We’re very easy to reach.
